Yankton South Dakota Pictures
Lewis and Clark Recreation Areas

The first time we traveled to Yankton was when we moved to Tripp SD. We came into Yankton from Sioux City, and it seemed like a quiet little town. But then we hit the north side of Yankton, and what a difference. There are shopping centers everywhere, and motels.

Welcome to Yankton

The last time we visited Yankton we came in heading south from Hwy 37 and Hwy 50, and came across the Lewis and Clark Lake and Dam and campgrounds.

So you never know what a surprise you're in for when you visit Yankton.
